Telegram integration

Telegram brings group-based communication into Sayless through a workspace bot and group mappings.

Overview

Use Telegram when customer or partner communication happens in Telegram groups. Admins manage Telegram from workspace settings. Telegram availability depends on your workspace plan.

Telegram is available on the Business plan and Enterprise plan.

Telegram setup has two parts: the shared workspace bot and a personal Telegram connection for group sync. Go to Settings > Telegram.

Telegram groups require the workspace bot. Group sync may also require a personal Telegram connection.

Connect Telegram

Telegram setup uses a workspace bot and, when needed, a personal Telegram connection.

Workspace bot

Connect the shared Telegram bot for the workspace. If the bot is already connected, admins can reconnect or disconnect it. The bot username appears in settings after connection.

Personal Telegram account

Connect a personal Telegram account when Sayless needs to sync available groups for the workspace. The groups page is blocked until the workspace bot is connected. If a personal account is missing, Sayless prompts you to connect one before syncing groups.

Workspace availability

If Telegram is unavailable, review the workspace plan and upgrade to Business or Enterprise.

Manage Telegram groups

Groups are connected and mapped from Telegram settings.

Connected groups

Review saved Telegram groups from the groups page. Connected group count appears on the Telegram settings page.

Auto-join bot

The workspace bot can be used to join or manage connected Telegram groups.

Assign companies

Link groups to companies so conversation context is attached to the account. Company mapping keeps Telegram conversations visible in company records.

Internal users

Internal users are teammates in Telegram groups who should not be treated as customer contacts.

Configure internal users

Add internal users from Telegram settings. Internal user setup is admin-only when the workspace bot is connected.

Use internal users to keep teammate messages from becoming customer contact records.
