Overview
Broadcasts depend on workspace channel setup. In the current app, broadcast creation checks for a workspace Slack connection before allowing a Slack broadcast workflow. If Slack is not connected, non-admins see a setup blocker and admins can navigate to Slack settings. This prevents creating a broadcast that cannot be delivered. Go to Broadcasts.Slack broadcasts are available on the Enterprise plan. Slack channel setup itself starts on the Business plan, but broadcast creation uses the Enterprise-gated broadcast capability.

Create a broadcast
Start from the Broadcasts page.Start a new broadcast
Choose New broadcast from the broadcast list. If the required workspace integration is missing, Sayless will direct an admin to the relevant settings page. New broadcast actions are available from the Broadcasts page and from the command menu when you are in a broadcast context.Choose a sender profile
Broadcast profiles define who or what the message is sent from. Admins can manage broadcast profiles from Slack settings. If no usable profile exists, configure one before drafting operational broadcasts.Select a destination
Choose where the broadcast should be sent. Available destinations depend on connected channels and workspace setup. For Slack, destinations come from connected workspace channels.Compose the message
Use the broadcast editor to write the message.Editor
The editor supports rich text formatting, links, lists, mentions, images, and attachments where available.Preview
Review the message before sending. Broadcasts are easier to fix before delivery than after they are sent.Validation
Sayless checks required fields before a broadcast can be sent. Common blockers include missing workspace Slack connection, missing sender profile, missing destination, or incomplete message content.Broadcasts are outbound messages. Use inbox replies when responding inside an existing customer conversation.
