Security and access settings help protect your account and clarify what you can do in each workspace.

Overview

Your access in Sayless is shaped by your account, your workspace memberships, and your role in each workspace. Admins manage organization-level access from workspace settings. Individual users manage personal account details from profile, access, and connected account settings. If you cannot see a setting or action, the most likely reasons are role permissions, plan availability, missing workspace setup, or missing personal account connection.

Login and authentication

Use access settings when you need to review how you sign in or which identity is attached to your account.

Work email

Use your work email when joining or creating a workspace. This makes invitations, domain-based access, and member management easier for admins.

Connected accounts

Connected accounts are personal integrations attached to your user account. They are different from workspace integrations, which affect the whole workspace. For example, a workspace admin may connect Slack or Telegram for the workspace, while an individual teammate may still need to connect a personal account for actions that happen under their identity.
If an integration says an admin connection is required, connect the workspace integration first. Personal account setup cannot replace missing workspace setup.

Email verification

Some login or account flows may require email verification before you can continue. The current app includes email token routes for authentication and error states, so verification links may open directly into Sayless.

Workspace access

Workspace access controls what you can see and manage.

Member role

Your member role determines whether you can manage admin settings such as billing, API keys, webhooks, members, and integrations. Admin-only settings are hidden or blocked for non-admins.

Workspace switching

If you belong to multiple workspaces, make sure you are in the correct workspace before making changes. Use the workspace switcher or O then W when available. Top-level app links open in your active workspace. If a link opens the wrong workspace, switch workspaces before continuing.

Leaving a workspace

If you no longer need access to a workspace, use member or access settings to leave, when permitted. Admins should make sure ownership and assignments are handed off before leaving or deactivating members.
