Billing controls your workspace subscription, seat count, payment method, invoices, and access to plan-gated features.

Overview

Admins manage billing from workspace settings. Sayless has a Free plan and paid plans: Startup, Business, and Enterprise. Billing affects feature availability for channels, integrations, records, dashboards, and other workspace capabilities. The client performs local plan checks for several creation flows. If a limit is reached or a feature is not included, Sayless blocks the action and points admins toward plans. Go to Settings > Billing, or open Settings > Billing > Plans.

Subscription

Use subscription settings to review or change the workspace plan.

Current plan

Review the current plan and included features. Feature access can affect integrations such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, API features, dashboards, reports, metrics, file storage, and other usage-limited objects. The current plan section shows the plan name, price, billing cycle, workspace currency, next billing date, seat count, renewal amount, and any upcoming downgrade.

Upgrade plan

Upgrade when the workspace needs a feature or limit not included in the current plan. Upgrade prompts can appear directly from blocked feature areas, such as integrations or creation flows. When upgrading, Sayless previews the change before applying it. The preview uses the target plan, active seat count, and any requested seat changes to show what is charged now and what the next renewal amount will be.

Downgrade plan

Downgrade when the workspace no longer needs the current plan level. Check usage before downgrading. Existing objects or integrations may exceed the lower plan’s limits. Downgrades are scheduled when the current billing period is still active. The app shows the effective date and notes that current features remain available until then. If the period has already ended, the change can take effect immediately.

Cancel subscription

Cancel only when the workspace should stop using paid plan access. Cancellation moves the workspace toward the Free plan. If the current period is still active, cancellation is scheduled for the period end. If the current period has already ended, cancellation is immediate and the workspace moves to Free plan access.

Seats and payment

Seats and payment settings keep the subscription active.

Manage seats

Add or review seats as the team grows. Seat changes can affect subscription cost and member invite capacity. Paid plans are priced per seat per month in the client UI. Adding seats can require a payment method and can be prorated for the remaining billing period.

Payment method

Update the payment method when card details change. The billing page includes card update and add-card confirmation flows.

Invoices

Use invoices for billing history and finance review. Invoices are listed from the billing page when available.

Past due accounts

If payment is overdue, admins may see a sidebar notice and should update billing before access changes. The sidebar can show how many days remain before the workspace is downgraded to a free state.
Some product areas show upgrade prompts directly when a feature is unavailable. Admins can use those prompts to jump to plan settings.
