# Metrics

> Create and manage Sayless metrics that turn event data from integrations into searchable details, comparisons, and dashboard-ready charts.

Metrics track event-style data in Sayless. Use them when customer or product activity needs to be collected, inspected, and visualized for post-sales workflows such as onboarding progress, account usage, renewals, and health reviews.

## Overview

A metric has details, incoming events, integration information, and chart views. Metrics can also be connected to companies for account-level analysis.

> Metrics are available on Startup and higher. The Free plan has a metric limit of `0`; Startup includes up to `3` metrics, Business includes up to `10`, and Enterprise is unlimited in the current client policy.

## Work with metrics

Use the metrics list to create and manage metric definitions.

### Create a metric

Create a metric when you need to start collecting a new kind of event data.

### Edit a metric

Edit a metric when its name, description, status, or integration details change.

### Delete a metric

Delete a metric only when it should no longer be tracked. Bulk delete actions may be available from the metrics list.

## Metric details

Open a metric to review its configuration and data.

### Status

Status shows whether the metric is receiving data or otherwise available.

### Created by

Created by identifies who added the metric.

### Integration endpoint

Integration details show how external systems can send event data to the metric.

> Metric URLs are based on the metric path. If a metric is renamed, use the app’s current link instead of an old copied URL.

## Filtering and views

Use search, filters, sorting, columns, and pagination to manage the metric list.
