# Gong integration

> Connect Gong so call recordings and transcripts land on company meetings in Sayless. Available on Scale and Enterprise.

Gong attaches call recordings, transcripts, and summaries to company meetings in Sayless.

## Overview

Use Gong when your team records customer calls in Gong and wants those calls next to the company record in Sayless.

Workspace admins connect Gong from Apps or Gong settings, then paste a Sayless destination URL into a Gong automation rule so selected calls are sent to Sayless.

> Gong requires the Scale plan or Enterprise plan. Google Calendar and Google Meet meetings are available from Growth and above.

## Connect Gong

Gong is a workspace-level OAuth connection. Only admins can connect or disconnect it.

### Plan requirements

If Gong settings show an upgrade state, the workspace is below Scale. Upgrade to Scale or Enterprise to connect Gong.

### Workspace connection

1. Open [Settings > Gong](https://joinsayless.com/settings/gong).
2. Connect Gong and complete OAuth.
3. Copy the destination URL from the Automation rule section.
4. In Gong Admin, open Company settings → Ecosystem → Automation rules.
5. Create a rule, filter the calls you want in Sayless, set the action to Fire webhook, paste the destination URL, enable the rule, then use Test now.
6. Refresh the Gong settings page in Sayless to see ingested calls.

When you connect Gong, Sayless also imports recent calls from the last 90 days. After that window, new calls arrive through the Gong automation webhook.

Private Gong calls are ignored.

## What gets imported

For each eligible call, Sayless stores:

* Call title, time, and duration
* Participant emails (used to match a company)
* Recording media URLs when Gong provides them
* Transcript when available
* A link back to the call in Gong

Matched calls also appear on that company’s Meetings tab. Unmatched calls stay on the Gong settings list until they can be tied to a company.

Gong recordings use short-lived media URLs. Sayless refreshes an expired URL when you play the recording in the meeting detail page.

## Disconnect Gong

Admins can disconnect Gong from the Gong settings page. New calls stop ingesting. Meetings already imported stay in Sayless.
