# Contact properties

Contact properties keep person-level context useful across the workspace.

Use contact properties to identify a person, connect them to a company, and find their related conversations or tickets.

## Contact properties

Contact properties appear in contact forms, lists, detail pages, and filters.

### Name

Name is the primary identifier for the contact.

### Email

Email connects the contact to message history and communication workflows.

### Phone

Phone stores reachable phone numbers where available.

### Company

Company links the person to an account record.

### Job title

Job title helps teammates understand the person’s role.
