# Labels

> Categories for conversations, tickets, and companies.

Labels group work so filters, views, and triggers can find it. Open [Settings → Labels](https://joinsayless.com/\{workspace}/settings/labels).

The page has two lists:

* **Conversation** labels apply to conversations and to tickets. Tickets use this same list.
* **Company** labels apply to companies.

Create a label with a name and a color. Search, rename, or delete from the table.

Apply labels from a conversation or ticket details panel, from the company page, or with a [trigger](/admin/triggers) action **Set labels**.
